What this site knows about you

Not much. There are no ads, no tracking cookies and nothing sold or shared for marketing. Here is everything it does.

Who runs it

I’m Dawid Młynarz, a Lead Product Designer, and this is my personal site. I’m responsible for any personal data it handles. If you have a question about it, write to me at [email protected].

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. To deliver pages and keep the site safe from abuse, Cloudflare processes technical data from every request, such as your IP address, browser and the page you asked for. I don’t see or keep those logs. You can read how Cloudflare handles them in its privacy policy.

Visitor statistics

I use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see which pages people read and roughly where visits come from. It doesn’t use cookies, doesn’t store anything on your device and doesn’t follow you across sites. I only see totals: page views, referring sites, countries, browsers and device types. No individual visitor can be picked out.

Cookies and local storage

The site doesn’t need your consent for anything it stores, because each item is there only to do something you asked for or to keep the site running:

  • case_study_access is a cookie set only after you enter the password for a protected case study, so you don’t have to type it again. It lasts 30 days and holds no personal data.
  • theme is saved in your browser’s local storage when you switch between light and dark mode, so the site remembers your choice.
  • nav-collapse lives in session storage for a moment while the menu animates between pages, and is removed as soon as the next page loads.
  • Cloudflare may set a security cookie such as __cf_bm or_cfuvid to tell people from bots.

Email

If you email me, I keep the conversation in my inbox so I can reply and follow up. I don’t add anyone to a mailing list.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask me what I hold about you, and ask me to correct or delete it. Just email me. If you think I’ve handled your data badly, you can also complain to a data protection authority. In Poland that’s UODO.
